Oh, the beautiful sunset
Luminous on the mountain’s top
Waiting there for all to see.
The sun tops the mountain
Shining, radiant bursts of light.
Fading away as it leads straight into
The gorgeous starry night.
And oh, the beautiful colors
As beautiful as the painting of an artist
Using all the colors of the rainbow.
There are reds, yellows, pinks and oranges.
The pastel of colors, slightly mix together
And a hint of blue peeking out
So close to the tip of the mountain
That it’s barely seen.
If only we could take time at dusk
To look at one of the most beautiful times of the day
One of the most beautiful artists’ paintings……
