We are officially missionaries! The minute President Hilton put his hands on my head, I felt a surge of love and calmness that was overpowering. His blessing was incredible and it touched on not only all the concerns I had but some that I had not thought of. I am so grateful for Priesthood leaders that live close to the spirit so they are ready to listen to the Lord when it is time. I pray that Dennis and I can be that kind of leaders – live our life so that we can receive that kind of inspiration daily.
We enter the MTC tomorrow morning for 5 days. We will be home for the weekend and Dennis’ birthday next Sunday, March 11th. Then at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12th we board the plane to South Africa and our adventure begins. I have waited a lifetime for this mission and excited to get started. I will miss you all but know that we have many new friends to make over in South Africa and Swaziland.
